Sacramento
World Refugee Day

More than 65 MILLION people are now counted as forcibly displaced by the United Nations. Through this crisis, Sacramento has had the honor of being the most welcoming city to refugees.

Our city is the largest resettlement location in the United States. Last year alone, Sacramento welcomed over 5,000 refugees; the majority of which are special immigrant visa holders who proudly served alongside US forces in Afghanistan and Iraq.

To highlight World Refugee Day here in Northern California we, along with the organizations listed above, are celebrating by hosting a free soccer tournament and carnival with the goal of bringing the refugee community together alongside our newest neighbors in Sacramento. Join us for a family fun day!
