Like last year, Sacramento Republic FC (SRFC) is generously partnering with us to play on their home turf at Papa Murphy’s Park. This year, we are expanding to 14 teams and each team will play three 8 vs 8 games.

The winning team will be presented with the tournament trophy during halftime at SRFC’s July 13th match. Gather your friends, pick a captain, and register before slots fill up!

Registration Details:

  • The tournament will have 14 teams with an 8 player minimum, 10 player maximum.

  • Register now until May 8th to receive the Early Bird Discount - just $150.00! After May 8th, fees increase to $200.00 per team.

  • Before registering your team, make sure you have selected a captain, team name, and know all your players’ names and jersey sizes.

  • Each team is required to pay a registration fee to participate, which is due at the time of registration. Fees cover costs associated with facilitating the tournament, player jerseys, and a combined ticket to the July 13th SRFC match and California State Fair for each registered player and team captain.

  • The winning team will receive extra tickets for the July 13th SRFC game.

 
 

General Tournament Details:

  • Check-In: Teams should arrive no later than 8:00 am. Players will receive jerseys and game schedules.

  • Team Captain Responsibilities: Captains are responsible for making sure each player arrives on time and bring approved cleats, shin guards, shorts, clothes, water, and a form of identification.

  • Start & End Time: Tournament play starts promptly at 8:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm with a few breaks in between.

  • Location: The tournament will be held at Papa Murphy’s Park, home field of Sacramento Republic FC located at 1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815.

  • Field Set Up: The tournament will have two fields playing 8 vs 8 matches throughout the day.

  • Game Schedule: Before each game, teams will need to check in at the “Players Check-in Station” 10 minutes prior to their match beginning. All players need to be present.

  • Food & Water: Some snacks and water will be provided and there will be food trucks on site. Lunch will not be provided.

  • Facilities: There will be a shaded player area reserved for tournament players only (no children or family members will be allowed in this area).  There will not be access to the locker rooms. 

  • Medical: If serious medical attention is needed, we will have a medic unit on site. First aid kits for less serious injuries will also be available at the referee station.
